Alice Jean was my Grandma.

She was always knitting, sewing or doing some kind of craft. When I started my original hair accessories business, 'Pretty Little Petals', in 2012, she used to love seeing my latest creations, and she would also knit beanies for me to sell.

While we would chat and craft together, my girls would play on the floor with her extensive collection of beaded necklaces, bracelets and buttons. When the girls were little, we shared many shopping trips to Spotlight with my grandma, (always with a coffee stop at the café next door afterwards!)

Those girls are now in their teens and are enthusiastically joining in the world of handmade and contributing their own creations to the business. Whilst my grandma is no longer with us, her memory lives on in our creations and it seemed fitting to include her on this journey.
